Toshiba T1910S laptop

This machine was bought for me in 1994 to use for my A-Levels. It was intended for use as a word processor. Although I did complete a programming assignment on the laptop, and have used it to browse the internet, it is not really powerful enough to run web software at a sensible speed and the serial port is too slow to connect anything faster than a 28.8 modem.

Name. Toshiba T1910S.
Introduced. 1992 or 1993.
Processor. Intel 80486 SX33 (33 MHz).
RAM. 4 Mb.
ROM. Unknown (containing BIOS).
Operating system. MS-DOS 6.2, Windows 3.1 / 3.11 for Workgroups.
Interfaces.
  • Quickport mouse.
  • PS/2 external mouse / external keyboard.
  • External monitor.
  • Parallel.
  • Serial.
  • Two PCMCIA type II slots.
LCD display. 64 grey scale STN LCD.
Drives.
  • 3.5" floppy drive.
  • 2.5" 120 Mb hard drive.

I tried putting Linux on this machine, but it does not have enough memory to run Linux happily, so I put DOS/Windows for Workgroups on it.
